The Amount of Zakaah Due on these Plants and Fruits:
The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) said:
“On the land irrigated by rain water or by natural water channels or if the land is wet due to a nearby water channel one-tenth (of the produce) is due (as Zakaah); and on the land irrigated by a well (i.e., artificially) one-twentieth is due.”
Reported by Al-Bukhaaree (1483) and Muslim (2269).
