The Perfection and Completion of Islâm:
Allaah, the Most High, said:
“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion.” (Al-Maa’idah, 5:3).
The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) said:
“Verily, there was never a prophet before me except that it was his duty was to guide his people to what he knew to be best for them, and to warn them of what he knew to be evil for them.”
Reported by Muslim in his Saheeh (1844).
The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) said:
“Nothing is left that will bring you closer to Paradise or distance you from the Fire except that it has been clearly conveyed to you.” And in another narration:
“There is no deed that will make you closer to Paradise except that I have ordered you to do it, and there is no deed that will make you closer to the Fire except that I have forbidden it to you.”

Salmaan Al-Faarisee (radiyallaahu `anhu) narrated that some of the polytheists said:
“Your Prophet taught you everything? Even how to relieve yourselves?!” He replied:
“Yes, indeed! He has prohibited us from facing the Qiblah while relieving ourselves or that we clean ourselves with less than three stones, or that we clean ourselves with the right hand or that we clean ourselves with dung or bones.”
Reported by Muslim (262).
